| Castlebar Sports Field | |
Castlebar Field belongs to Durston House and is just four minutes' walk away in Carlton Road. There is a large grass pitch, floodlit tennis and basketball courts, which also serve as a hard play area, an adventure trail, a sandpit, climbing frame and slide for Pre-Prep pupils, and a route through a spinney for cross-country. Boys in Junior, Middle and Upper Schools go to Castlebar for their mid-morning breaks and at lunch times.
Castlebar is used for PE and some Games lessons. The large, modern Buckley Pavilion has indoor gymnastics facilities, and a refreshments bar.
