We assess boys informally for entry into Reception at 4 years old, and we invite each child to enjoy a 'taster' afternoon. Most boys will join school in September. Much of their day is spent with the same teacher with whom they gain the early building blocks of learning. ICT is an important component of the curriculum at this stage; and there are additional specialist teachers for PE and Music. Years 1 and 2 follow a similar pattern of activity. | |||
