Passion for sport

All of us understand the value of good health and exercise. We can also see the benefits to our pupils in introducing them to team sports and competitive activities.

Main sporting activities are football, rugby (union and league), cricket and athletics. The boys also have opportunities to try other sports; our swimming team has enjoyed increasing success in recent years. We run as many teams as possible for each age group, to ensure as many pupils as possible gain the experience of representing their school. Each term sees an impressive fixtures list against other schools.

Great facilities for great teams

The school has its own sports facilities - Castlebar Field, with its floodlit hard court area, and a sports complex on Swyncombe Avenue in Little Ealing, where we are developing further floodlit all-weather facilities, and which is about ten minutes from school by bus.
Durston House Both sites have large, modern pavilions, where parents and friends are very welcome to enjoy hospitality on match days and at weekend tournaments.

From Durston to Twickenham
In addition to our own Durston House Football and Rugby Union Tournaments, we have forged a link with Harlequins Rugby League Club, which has seen us playing in tournaments at Twickenham Stoop and in the curtain-raiser to the Rugby League Varsity Match. The school has sought to involve itself with the local community in promoting Saturday morning initiatives at its Castlebar Field.
