Mr N I Kendrick

He joined Durston House as Headmaster in January 2005. Married, with three grown-up children, Ian lists his other interests as the jazz guitar and the theatre. He is a keen theatre-goer, lists A Confederacy of Dunces as his favourite book and, being a Kiwi, has rugby in his veins.

Mrs C Green
BA (QTS) (St Mary’s) MA (OU)
Head of Complementary Curriculum
Ealing born and bred, Clare Green returned to her roots after boarding at Taunton School and studying to be a teacher at St Mary’s, Twickenham. She joined the staff of Durston in 1999, initially as a Year 3 class teacher. Her focus, now, is heading the History Department, as well as managing the co-curricular life of the school, as a member of the management team. Clare has combined all this with being a Durston mother. Family life is her joy. Travelling with her husband and children, both within the UK and abroad, keeps her holidays busy; she is proud to have visited all the National Parks in the British Isles. When not baking or doing the ‘karate run’, Clare likes to escape to the world of the theatre.
Miss C Hands-Wicks
BA (Joint Hons) (St Mary’s) MEd PGCE
Acting Head of Pre-Prep
Charlotte grew up in Chiswick and attended Notting Hill and Ealing High School with her sister, while her brother attended Durston House. It seemed very fitting when a job came up at Durston and she joined as a NQT in 2009. Charlotte had enjoyed a career in Marketing before beginning her life in Education. After completing her PGCE, she gained her MA in Leading Innovation and Change in Education. Charlotte loves to travel and has been all over the globe with her husband and daughter. She hopes to visit at least 100 countries in her lifetime and is currently halfway to her goal.
